About the Song
“Standby” is a midnight, road-glide country groove about keeping worries off the front seat and letting the drive take over. With a cool, conversational vocal and a steady highway pulse, the song turns a late-night run into temporary freedom—problems stay “on standby.”

Lyrics
It's feelin' like a Friday
80 on the highway
Whole world gonna pass by
Problems just on standby
It's feelin' like a Friday
80 on the highway
Whole world gonna pass by
Problems just on standby
Tank's on half
Heart's on full
Windows down
Night stays cool
Palm trees blur
Radio low
Don't need much
Just let it roll
Bills can wait
Phone can die
Everything on
Standby
For a little while
I'm untied
Everything else
Can ride behind
It's feelin' like a Friday
80 on the highway
Whole world gonna pass by
Problems just on standby
It's feelin' like a Friday
80 on the highway
Whole world gonna pass by
Problems just on standby
Red lights fade
Tail lights glow
Somewhere else
Got somewhere to go
I ain't lost
I ain't late
Just let the miles
Decide today
Funny how
A little drive
Can make you
Feel alive
Every curve
Every mile
Feels like breathin'
For a while
No destination
No deadline
Just this road
And this skyline
One more mile
One more song
By tomorrow
I'll be gone
It's feelin' like a Friday
80 on the highway
Whole world gonna pass by
Problems just on standby
It's feelin' like a Friday
80 on the highway
Whole world gonna pass by
Problems just on standby
Standby...
Standby...
80 on the highway
Whole world gonna pass by
Problems just on standby
It's feelin' like a Friday
80 on the highway
Whole world gonna pass by
Problems just on standby
